Rebecca's Mom Leotards founder, Candy Dengrove, started making leotards in 1993. Her daughter, Rebecca, an enthusiastic young gymnast, was constantly in need of new leotards and the price to keep up was more than they could manage.  As a stay-at-home Mom with a knack for sewing, Candy saw making leotards as an exciting new challenge.  It turned out Candy had a real skill for design and fit and Rebecca's Mom rapidly gained a cult following in Southern California.  She realized people loved the unique cut and quality of her leotards (hence the slogan, "Comfort is our style!").   

As Rebecca grew older, competing through college, Candy saw her business grow exponentially, from a handful of pro-shops in elite clubs and local competitions to become the exclusive supplier to the UCLA gymnastics team. After 26 years of business, Rebecca's Mom leotards is a national brand loved by gymnasts everywhere.  

While Candy loves creating leotards that are beautiful and comfortable to wear, she continues her business because it reminds her of the time she spent with her daughter when she was younger and progressing through the sport.  We hope our leotards bring you closer to your dreams and family the way they have for us.
